Play piano online in a 16-voice synth and arranger: 80+ instruments across pianos, organs, strings, world & maqam voices, microtuning, drum styles, recording, and a full 49-key board you can play from your computer keyboard.
The virtual piano is a browser workstation, not a toy keyboard. It plays 80 or more sampled instruments, from grand piano and electric pianos to strings, brass, guitars and synths, and includes Arabic maqam voices with true quarter-tone microtuning. Play it with the mouse, a touch screen, the computer keyboard, or plug in a MIDI keyboard for a real piano feel.
Around the keys sits a small studio: scale assist that lights the notes of any scale or maqam, chord pads that play full voicings, drum styles to play along with, a recorder with a piano-roll view, and looping. It is used by beginners learning where the notes are, by songwriters sketching ideas, and by oud, qanun and vocal students who need a reference pitch in a maqam.

Most online pianos are a single sampled piano with a few octaves; this one is a multi-instrument workstation with microtonal scales, chord pads, drums and MIDI input, and it still loads in a browser tab.
Yes. The letter keys A to J and K to the apostrophe cover an octave and a half, with the row above for the black keys; the mapping is printed on the keys, and Z and X shift the octave. QWERTZ keyboards are detected automatically.
Yes, through Web MIDI in Chrome, Edge and Opera. Connect the keyboard, allow access when the browser asks, and velocity is recognised. Whether MIDI input is part of your plan is listed under Free vs Pro above.
A maqam is a melodic mode used in Arabic, Turkish and Persian music. Several maqamat use notes a quarter-tone between the piano's keys, so a normal piano cannot play them; the maqam voices here retune the affected notes so the scale sounds as it should.
Yes. The recorder captures your playing as notes in a piano roll, so you can play it back, loop it and keep the take in your account. Whether recording is part of your plan is listed under Free vs Pro above.
Latency depends on the browser and device. Desktop Chrome with a wired MIDI keyboard is close to instant; Bluetooth MIDI and some Android browsers add a few tens of milliseconds. Closing other audio tabs helps.
Yes. Note names can be shown on the keys, scale assist prevents wrong notes, and the chord pads let a beginner accompany a song on day one.
